Is it an ON-LINE course or IN-CLASSROOM course?

We only offer online classes led by experienced instructors live at this time. Our groups are under 8 people. Each student receives individual attention during the class and via personal online consultations.

How long is your Software Testing/QA course? What is the schedule?

Our main course is a 3.5 month course. Two evening classes per week.

Group 1:

Mondays, 6 pm to 9pm

Thursdays, 6 pm to 9pm

Group 2:

Tuesdays, 6 pm to 9pm

Fridays, 6 pm to 9pm

No weekend classes at this time.

Do I need to know coding or have previous IT experience? Are there any age restrictions?

No prior IT experience required to become a software tester.

No age restrictions. Anyone 18+ is welcome to apply.

Will I get hands-on experience? Is it a single instructor led class?

Yes, you will get hands-on experience. Learnix Tree Center students have a chance to practice their skills using real-life projects and web based applications specifically designed for this course.

You will be working with a team of IT professionals, recruiters and salespersons with an average 25+ years of experience.

What will happen if I miss 1-2 classes due to some personal issues?

You will notify us and we will schedule an extra session to help you catch up with the group. For FREE!

Do you provide training material?

We provide our own and exclusive training materials, including documents, slides, videos. Yes, we developed our materials and regularly refresh them to make sure we stay on top of things!

Do you provide job placement after the course? Do you provide certification after taking the course?

Yes, Learnix Tree Center will assist you with resume preparation, interview trainings and job placement. In addition, we are working with various recruiting firms and our direct clients nationwide.

Yes, you will get our course completion certificate. But this is not all. We also prepare students to take an ISTQB certification - one of the most prestigious and demanding certifications in the industry. Click here to read more about ISTQB Certification.

Can I apply for financial aid or student loans while learning at Learnix Tree Center?

Learnix Tree Center is a state-certified school by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV.edu), Maryland Department of Labor and New Jersey Department of Labor. Our students are eligible to apply for certain programs as indicated below. Contact us for the financial aid in MD and NJ at marketing@learnixcenter.com.

Adult jobseekers, dislocated workers, and young adults that meet program eligibility criteria may be able to receive funds to go towards the cost of their training through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) with the Virginia Career Works – Northern Region. Under the WIOA principle of streamlining services, Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) are issued to qualified individuals by certified Virginia Career Works –Centers throughout the Northern Virginia area.
