Course Overview:
Engage in a comprehensive, hands-on software testing project that mirrors real-world web application testing, both manually and through automation. Key components of the program include:
  • Real-World Testing: Participate in a live web application software testing project, covering both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • API Testing: Perform REST API testing using Developer Tools and Postman.
  • Test Automation: Gain expertise in test automation with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Cucumber, including building locators for web page elements.
  • Agile Management: Utilize Jira, integrated with the X-ray plugin, for agile project management.
  • Backend Testing: Write and execute SQL queries for thorough back-end testing.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: Get familiar with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Version Control: Master version control using Git and GitHub.
  • Test Case Development: Write and execute various test cases, including positive, negative, and boundary cases, and document bug reports.
  • Diverse Testing Types: Perform different types of testing, such as regression, build acceptance/smoke, browser/device compatibility, usability, and GUI testing.
  • Agile Environment: Get hands-on experience with Agile processes and company workflows.
  • Scrum Participation: Actively engage in Scrum rituals, including Stand-Up meetings, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
  • Interview Preparation: Practice with interview questions to sharpen your skills.
  • Support: Receive ongoing support through group and individual chats.
  • Schedule: Live, instructor-led remote sessions via Zoom every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
